Mokafat (Punishment)

In my recent collection, which have been done with pencil and oil color on cardboard, I portray chaotic and intricate forms of animals to mention deep concept. The truth beneath the layers of which lies tenderness and power of a woman trying to escape the suppression she is facing. My paintings are meant to be a way to inspire collective movement, dialogue, and togetherness for a more just future. It should not be forgotten that these female dimensions are the creator and manifestation of the male power and pride, which considers itself a taffeta woven separately from creation.
